We are pleased that you enjoyed your sail with Will. With over thirty years of sailing experience on Penobscot Bay we are so lucky to work with him. Glad that you mentioned how chilly it can be as this is good information for future guests...More

We had a fantastic time and a gorgeous Friday afternoon. Ron and Will took great care of us including providing recommendations for other sites to see while in the area.

I went with a group of out-of-town visitors for an afternoon sail on a windy October day. The boat was perfect, in great shape, and the two crew could not have been nicer. They provided an exciting (but not too exciting) sail with the rail...More

We had a great time aboard the Surprise on our short sail into Penobscot bay. The captain and crew were friendly, informative and expert and fun. The sea was a little choppy and the wind was gusty and sailing was exciting and wonderful. We'd do...More

My husband and I loved the Schooner Surprise. Friendly staff with plenty of stories and knowledge to share if you asked, super cool historical boat, and you can't beat being out on the water when in Maine. Highly recommend!

Yes... great experience. There's only one sail with the music and desert... Also, if you ask, you can help them set the sails and steer the boat for awhile
