We were in Maine at the height of fall color. We had been in Camden and decide to go to the park and the Mountain. The drive up was pretty but nothing compared to the view from the top, overlooking Camden and the bay. I am so glad we went up. We got some beautiful pictures. Sights not to be... More

Great State Park with great views. Could have stayed there forever and watching. Would love to come back and hike there.

Easy to find if you're renting a car and driving there but not easy to access via public transport. It's a cool place for a day hike or maybe a few days stay if love the outdoors. (They offer campground / tent sites and RV parking with electricity and water services). Fabulous views over Penobscot bay and islands! Great place... More

Beautiful hiking up an accessible destination! Crisp autumn leaves overhead and under foot, unfortunately the tower was under renovation so we didn't reach the pinnacle But the views were awesome!!

Beautiful highlight of our trip. Stunning views of the ocean. Peaceful and picturesque. Stone tower at the very top.

Great spot for hiking & birding and breathtaking views! Grab a lunch at the Camden Deli and take the very short drive to the park. We had the place to ourselves - no crowds here. Serenity and silence.

A little bit pricey for no more than there is to see, but veterans do get a discount as do seniors. The view is quiet stunning. Great picture opportunity.

We walked up to Adam's lookout and took in the views right across to Acadia. The path has some tricky climbs over rock outcrops and would be slippery in wet weather. The park fees are very expensive for its size and facilities.

When it is clear, you will find this hard to beat! Penobscot bay spread out in front of you, with views from Blue hill, Mt. DESERT, Deer Isle, Isle au Haut, North Haven & Vinyl Haven, Rockland, Owls head, Mussle Ridge, and Monhegan Island. Wow, remember to glance down and see Camden spread out below.
