we took our dog and loved both the spectacular view as well as the lovely setting. don't miss it if in Camden. there are many options for hikes and bike rides.

Nice place to pull off the road and take a short walk. The one down side is there are no bathroom facilities. The hike to the beach is nice and there are some sites available for parking with disabilities.

Hi Karen O, There are bathroom facilities - five of them located at: (2) summit of Mt. Battie (1) trail head 1/4 mile up the Mt. Battie Road (1) main entrance on Route 1 (1) ski shelter at intersection of Multi-Use and Slope Trails

Beautiful views and great trails. If you like trail running, hiking, photography or just need some fresh air, this is a great park to visit. Admission cost is low and worth every penny.

Yes. The grades are steep buy brief. There's plenty of parking at the summit and the road loops around to the exit.

The road to the summit of Mt. Battie is only 1.5 miles long. There are 25 miles of hiking trails in this 6,200 acre park.
