Interesting to those of us who know a little about this man of significant historical importance, who was also a man of character. The tour spends more time on his back ground outside of the Civi. War, which is quite interesting.

Always wanted to visit the home of the hero of Gettysburg. Took the house tour and really enjoyed it. I like the idea that they are trying to keep the house original instead of just filling it with period pieces.

Had a super visit here a few years ago. The tour guides were awesome and informative as well as very friendly and helpful. Across the street there is a statue of Joshua chamberlain. His gravesite is about a 5 minute drive away,

Seasonal. After Columbus day they are only open Friday and Saturday 10 to 4 and Sunday 1 to 4. Close for the year on November 13th.
