If you get a good docent, then they will give you a great tour with a great deal of information about the house and Joshua Chamberlain's connection with Bowdoin college (right across the street). The tour will also explain about his family. Quite interesting.

I have a 20th Maine hat and today I wore it at Gettysburg. There were two guides at Little and Big Round Top and they loved the hat and asked where I got it. Do you sell 20th Maine hats, mugs, shirts, etc.?
