I was able to get a nice photo of this from the Bennie Alice on the way to Cabbage Island. The Captain even took a moment to turn the boat so everyone could see it.

Do you have 3 or 4 hours to spare? If you have a kayak, you really should kayak over and explore. Not just the grounds. Being able to go up in the lighthouse, is a treat all by itself. Seeing the inside of the house...More

we came for the day. people very helpful on telling you about the history . they also tell about the lighthouse. you can visit on Tuesday and Thursday. had a great time. also came on July 20,2017.

They only do the tour on certain days. Call balmy day cruises and they can answer that for you.

Yes there is a Ferry to the island. But there are only curtain days for the tour. I think that we went on a Tuesday.
