Come sailing on Maine's last sailing wooden lobsterboat, the Sarah Mead! We will catch wind, laughter and maybe some lobster on your trip (it's called fishing for a reason). Seals, porpoise, lighthouses and other magnificent vessels around Boothbay Harbor are also typically visible.

My mom and I accompanied Nate on Sarah Mead's last sail of the season. Not only was it a smooth beautiful trip, but Nate was super friendly, informative and funny to boot. For an authentic, personable ride, we would definitely recommend booking a trip on this great boat.

Capt. Nate and Kelsey were awesome! We've been on many boat rides...no captain and crew have ever been so personable! I would travel to any point on the coast of Maine to sail with them again. Highlight of the entire weekend - hands down.

Sailing on a small wooden sailboat was amazing. Captain Nate and his father were great hosts and sailors. Pulling up an authentic wooden lobster cage was great. Would recommend highly.

Our first trip to Maine and Sail Moscongus and Captain Nate was the HIGHLIGHT OF OUR TRIP...Honestly, the best bang for the buck on our trip! A neat sail boat, a neat Captain, a neat Mate and probably the most beautiful place on earth! We learned about sailing, the Maine Coast and it's History and LOBSTERING! What a great day... More

My wife & I were on our honeymoon and had a completely enjoyable experience on our cruise of the bay & out on the ocean with Captain Randy & his mate Kelsey. They were AWESOME! Neither one of us had ever sailed, let alone checked a lobster trap for our possible dinner later! It was 2 hours of complete peace... More

Spruce Point is located away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Boothbay. So the dock is located in the outter portion of Boothbay. My wife and I went out on the 3 pm trip. As stated in other TA reviews the captain was very friendly. We have only been on a few sail boat rides. We really enjoy the... More

We took our third trip in as many years and had a great time as always. There is no better way pack so many different activities into one event: sightseeing, sailing on a real historic wooden vessel, and learning about lobstering (which you'll not see anywhere else under sail). Our kids (now 6 & 10) had a great time as... More

Considered sleeping in but am so glad we didn't. We went on the first trip of the day and it was beautiful. Great weather, great boat, great guide! It's so nice that only 6 people go at a time. We learned a lot about lobstering and lobsters, plus history of the area. Highly recommend!
