Fresh produce, locally produced jams, organic local meats, fresh baked goods, incredible beeswax candles, local honey, some artisan crafts - take it all in. We just happened on this when wandering the Maine coast and heading into Boothbay Harbor. Well worth a stop - make sure to support the local farmers and merchants....their wares are great!

Hahn's End cheese alone is worth a stop. Delicious breads and pastries. Wish I lived nearby so I could try the meats available.

Around 20 market stands where you find everything; several bakeries, farm stands, butchers, pottery and so on. We were very impressed by the size of this market , the atmosphere and the quality, too. It is held on a Friday, too bad for people who have to leave on a Saturday.......

The Boothbay Farmers' Market is wonderful. There is so much fresh produce, poultry, meats, fish, and cheeses to choose from. There are plants and spices and smoked meats and breads and even a wonderful gluten free baked goods booth. There is a booth with candies and another with all kinds of mushrooms. A young man plays music as we stroll... More

So nice to have this market in Boothbay, Maine. Love the Blue Tin Farm Soap, Goranson, Squire Tarbox Farm and so many more.

Dozens of vendors right on the common in Boothbay. Vegetables, baked goods, handcrafts, and a community of very friendly people!

Could not decide where to start at the market......fresh fish and a 2# slice of halibut steak for dinner; fresh peaches, and other veggies, the best cured sausage I have ever eaten, and home grown tomatoes that actually taste like tomatoes. Enough food to cook at home while visiting this glorious place.

This market is doable in an hour. In that hour, you can pick up incredible artisan bread, cheese, and the best produce. I don't think I'll ever be satisfied with the supermarket strawberries after tasting those small, super sweet ones that I purchased there!

Great Farmer's Market. We were in Boothbay in an RV for two weeks and visited the Farmer's Market twice. Great farm fresh veggies, fish, all natural meat, etc. I think the Veal chops (veal is naturally raised with Mom in the field -- happy cows) were the best we have ever had. If you're cooking in I would highly recommend... More
