If all small independent bookstores were like this one, we might have some real competition for the big boys.

I loved this shop. Cozy and well organized with all my favorite categories very well stocked. The owner has been in business well over 20 years and seemed very knowledgable about all the various questions we asked him. I love buying a mystery written by a local author when I travel to various locations. He recommended books by Paul Doiron... More

I has been a long time since I've walked into a bookstore and felt like I could stay forever. Like I might beg them to work there for free. It is so cozy, well laid out, with a wonderful selection of books. I was giddy. This is a must see place. Staff was lovely too.

Wonderful store. Despite having one-tenth the shelving of a big-box bookstore, they always have something I want!

I stopped in last summer and wasn't expecting much in such a small town, but found an excellent selection of books of all sorts. The owner and I chatted about the books and what life is like in the surrounding area and she was helpful in making suggestions about books and things to do nearby, etc. I came away with... More

A wonderful spot to browse for something to read. Hard to do in this day and age. Plus the owners Nick and Maria seem to have read all the books so it can lead to some very wonderful discussions.

This is a fantastic little bookstore. It has a great selection of books for kids, adolescents, and adults. The atmosphere is superb and makes you feel like you want to hang out there all day. The owners are friendly and will order books that they don't have on their shelves. This is an A+ bookstore. If you are in town,... More

I was recently traveling for work and had some time to kill in Blue Hill. I'm so glad I stopped at this place! It was so warm and inviting. I browsed for about an hour before choosing a book. While I was there, several locals stopped in and were chatting with the staff - everyone seemed to know each other... More

The quintacential small town bookstore. Great room on the lower level with a generous selection of children's books. Nice comfy places to sit and browse troughout the store.
