A multilevel museum for kids of all ages. Many interactive activities to do on their own along with scheduled labs. Gives the kids the opportunity to touch on the different sciences.

Too much to say in a short review, but for the price, there isn't a better museum in the entire state. I'm a transplant to Maine and don't know much about the state, so this was a great learning experience for me as well as my family.

The kids always have fun here but it sure has seen better days. I wish the community could step up and help give this place the extra love it needs. I also wish there was better parking options.

Great place to spend a few hours. Both kids and Adults have fun. It was nice that we could bring our own lunch and could do interactive activities.

Great for kids about 12 and under though my 13 year old enjoyed it with her younger relatives. Three floors of exhibits. A few did not work, but plenty that did. Free entry for holders of other museum memberships - check the website.

My 3 grandkids, ages 3, 5 and 8 absolutely loved this place! There is so much to do, and it is different stuff than the normal kids museum. Their favorites were the Goodnight Moon room that they can be a part of, and the recording studio. (they are all hams!) You could spend several hours here on a rainy day!

Our family loves to stop at the Maine Discovery Museum when we are in town. This museum is a gem and totally worth the visit. We especially love the storybook rooms - it's like walking in to the pages of "Goodnight Moon" and other favorites!
