Fun family site to see

One of those fun things to travel to see. During the spring and summer visit Paul Bunyon statue and then go see the horse races or talk a stroll downtown.

Was in Maine for a logging expo, and this covers it! Can't miss Paul from the street, or air. Gotta get your photo in front of him.

I'm not sure how to rate this. It's a big statue in front of the Cross Insurance Center. The kids love to see it since it is HUGE.

This statue used to be located in a little greenspace with a gazebo and some trees (you can see some photos reflect this). It was a great place to stop and get some photos and have a picnic. BUT when the nearby Bangor Auditorium became the Cross Insurance Center, most of the was removed and now the statue is near... More

During our trip to Acadia, we swung through Bangor to get a look at the Paul Bunyan statue! Great landmark for the area and a good photo stop!! I recommend you swing by if you get a chance!!

I love to pass by this landmark. Great memories from years ago when going to Bangor was a somewhat rare thing to do. After eating at the Millers Buffet we would always drive back to the hotel this way so we could see Paul Bunyan

The statue has moved and is now right outside the Cross Insurance Center. If you are in the area its worth a quick stop for a photo and then go on your way.

This statue is larger than life and it is a great photo opportunity for everyone. There is a path that leads to it and a well kept lawn around it.

You see what you see. It is tall and in downtown Bangor. I like it, adds personality to the town, glad we have it, buuuuut. I wouldn't drive just to Bangor to see it. Great to drive by and check out to two seconds :)
