I spent the afternoon at the Sidell Historic Antique District, after meeting a friend from New Orleans for lunch. It was really great the shops we so close together. I was not impressed with the antiques in the shops. Hope they improve before your trip.

Very clean and friendly (quaint) town. I loved walking thru all the little stores stopped and had lunch and a cute bar which was once a gas station. Here you fell a great sense of community. Definitely, a nice way to spend an afternoon.

The Antique District is a great place to wander and find some wonderful items. I have gone there looking for specific items and just generally looking and usually come away with great finds.
