This is a beautiful garden that you can tour. Also has a lovely wedding venue next to the lake. Restaurant has good food and you can sit outside by the lake to eat. You can also tour the lovely Joe Jefferson home. Highly recommend this...More

If you are looking for a more relaxing peaceful beautiful place for your wedding than you will find it here. The grounds are beautiful. I would recommend having it more in the fall being tgst most wedding are outside. The summer may be to hot.

This is a great tourist location and still offers the locals some good food. Tourist will enjoy the well kept grounds, the good food, and a good venue for weddings, parties, and business meetings. A good gift shop is located near the restaurant.

Beautiful day for garden walk, taking in the vista of beautiful old live oaks, flowers, and wide open lake, followed by a restful, relaxing, delicious lunch and mimosa in the cafe. Browsed the gift shop and departed with a good feeling of a fun time...More

The gardens are worth a leisurely walk. Peacocks stroll through them and there are interesting fountains and other features. The food at the restaurant in very good.

Visited with a school field trip. Beautiful lawns and gardens. The history behind the gardens is interesting. Wear comfortable shoes and comfortable clothes. Great areas for a picnic.

I've never stayed at the cottages. However, I'm pretty certain if you contact the establishment, they could better answer you questions.
