We took a tour last week with Captain Tom. Due to COVID we were the only ones on the tour, and appreciated that they were willing to go regardless. Tom was really great- very knowlegeable and enjoyed his unique expressions. I would recommend Cajun Tours and Tom to anyone.

We had a great time with Captain Tom. We saw several alligators (even in December...though they were fairly small), an osprey, raccoons, turtles, and herons. The captain had a baby gator for us to touch, and gave informative and interesting narration.

Took the Swamp Tour today with Captain Bishop. Saw lots of small to medium sized alligators, turtles and egrets, even though they are more dormant during winter months. Was 70 degrees today. The Captain allowed plenty of time to take photos, he answered questions and regaled the audience with amusing tales of local folklore, as well as providing nature facts. The highlight for our daughters (18 & 20) hands down was when Captain Bishop allowed the passengers to gently hold a baby alligator. They loved learning about nature in such a direct experience.

Awesome tour! Went in mid-December, when most alligators are in a dormant state. We were told we'd be lucky to see 1 - pretty sure we saw 10+?!? I have a background in environmental science and spent a year working in wetlands - so I was picky in terms of what tour provider I would trust for an authentic experience. I was pleasantly surprised by how knowledgeable our tour guide, Bishop, was! He also knew where to place the boat to get the best shots! I think this company does a disservice to themselves by not advertising how National Geographic and others have roamed these waters given its haunted history (I won't spoil the surprise but it involves a voodoo priest and a haunted swamp graveyard)! Highly recommend!
