We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this piece of American history. It certainly gave us a greater appreciation of how our sailors lived and worked during their tour of duty on this ship. The highlight of our time here was the fact that a veteran...More

Very cool ship! Needs repairs, but to learn about what this ship survived, both in wartime and down time, and how daily life ran while aboard the ship was very interesting! Real piece of history- makes learning enjoyable!
