We bought our tickets almost two years ago when it was on special for Mothers Day. Finally went on the tour today and it was great. Good variety, Cajun flair and heritage and good group of strangers who became friends. Recommend it for anyone but I would see it for older children and adults. Will definitely plan it again in... We are normally not inclined to take a tour, but this one was very well executed. Marie provided us with a solid history of the area and the culture while offering us the opportunity to visit some very good local food establishments. This was an excellent way to spend our first day in the Lafayette area and be introduced to... More

My wife and I took our first tour a couple of years ago and loved it. When I went back this year with my daughter and some of my students, I just had to include a Cajun Food Tour! Marie is SO AWESOME! We all LOVED the tour. The food is fabulous and Marie does a great job of educating... More

We ran into the Cajun Food Tours at Nunu's one day and immediately decided it was worth the drive to Lafayette to take it! Marie is a wonderful hostess and guide and her enthusiasm for her city and her people is contagious! We visited 6 places--not all were restaurants--and there was a lot of food to try. But I have... Marie is a wonderful, enthusiastic tour guide and owner of this wonderful business. She loves sharing not only the food of Cajun country but the history as well. She nsures that everyone has a good time and dietary requirements are met. Fun, fun, fun for everyone! Young and old alike!

We have folks come visit often and have taken the tour at least 6 times with new folks. Did one this past weekend with my brotherr from out of town and two grandsons - we had an amazing group on the bus and everyone got along so well. We laughed, shared food, etc. If you have not tried this YOU... More

I recently went on this tour for the third time. It's so much fun! I live in Lafayette, and I learn about new restaurants every time. I've been on the morning and afternoon tours. Both are great. We are so lucky to have Marie running this business.

So well organized and timed! Tasted everything Cajun. Van is decorated and zydeco is playing when you board. Plenty of water bottles along the way. Great commentary on the food, the area, the Cajun sense of humor, the history. Have been on food tours in US and Europe, this is the best so far!

And the good times certainly did roll! Beginning with the bright orange bus that picked us up right on time at the hotel. We were driven to 6 different stops where we feasted on boiled crawfish and shrimp, boudin, gumbo, boudin kolaches, cracklin, swamp pop, and king cake. Our tour guide, Jay was knowledgeable about the food, history and culture... More

The tour had us eating alligator legs, boudin (pronounced bow-Dan), po'boys (oh yeah - Old Tyme Grocery), gumbo and smoked sausages. Out guide was funny, knowledgeable and a delight. We highly recommend.
