Making our way back to our home in Florida we decided to stop at the Bayou Rum Distillery. Our tour guide Nancy was incredibly informative and made our tour so much fun. We will try and come back because they are expanding their venue.

I didn't get a chance to make the tour, but the Rum that they produce is very good. I bought some to take to a friend sense it was made locally to where i live and he really enjoyed it.

Yes we had kids from ages 6 to 16 on the tour. As long as your kid is behaved (they have a yellow line you cannot cross into the production area) then I’d say why not.
