From the lake breezes, the park, the boat launches to, yes, a Casino. Plus, the amenities on Williams Blvd...it is a can’t miss for Kenner citizens and visitors. There was a time when that part of Williams Blvd was an overgrown dirt road leading from Vets Highway. You might reach the lake by going over a series of sturdy wooden bridges, reeking of creosote. This could be a great place some spend a day with the family. Unfortunately trashy people and zero maintenance have turned it into a landfill. There’s beer bottles, old crawfish, litter, and stray cats everywhere you look. And the bathroom was a scene from a gross low budget horror flick. Can’t believe the positive reviews. Did they REALLY look around. - worn out, forgotten tributes...truly an example of what municipalities do: build it, but forget maintenance. Do a “no maintenance plan” planning.
