This town is like a person who has had lots of plastic surgery. It is pretty but not real. It is full of expensive tourist- and expat-oriented boutiques, chic galleries, precious cafes and the like. If that is what you like you will love it here.

A walk around the historic center of San Miguel is a delight to the senses. Cobbled streets, imposing earth-toned walls, women selling flowers on the street corners and the sounds of life being enjoyed is a taste of what you will find.
