Downtown Baton Rouge is a great place to hang out with its riverfront area, historic neighborhoods, Old State Capitol building and numerous restaurants and dance clubs.

Wish there were more art galleries to explore and local art to view. Clean and there's historic sites to see and watching the sunset over the river walk is beautiful.

Downtown has been changing for the better! Lots of new shops, restaurants, coffee houses, and activities! LSU Museum of Arts and Shaw Center have been joined by lots of artistic, culinary, and fun operations! Try a culinary tour and get local history and insights.

visited and stayed downtown for a bowling tournament over Memorial day. Not everything was open, but if it were there is a lot to see. Lots of restaurants.

The trolley is run by CATS. Check their website. It might be helpful.
