I've been here a few times and it was a good place to camp. I get nostalgic because it'd been awhile since I was there. It's great to camp at; even for a night or two.

We rented a pontoon boat and took out on Laurel Lake for the day. It was a great boat with lots of space. The water in the lake was beautiful will do it again.

Sad to say when we asked the staff about the fishing after we rented a pontoon boat and was getting ready to launch "how's the fishing?" We were told it is a hard lake to fish. We had fun anyways, but was hoping for encouraging...More
