Loved the museum & gift shop. Everyone was very friendly. Going back to ride the train when they have Civil War Day. There are many special days during the year.

We went on the "Haunted Halloween Train" this evening. First the website should tell you in advance that this ride would only be enjoyable for the elderly or small children. If your idea of haunted is a creepy mr rogers type dude terribly narrating the...More

Waited an hour to take the train ride. Didn't leave the station on time as the personnel seemed more interested in filling up the cars than serving the ones already there. Ride was slow, hot, and no photo ops since the "scenery" was nothing but...More

The pumpkin patch train ride was a delight! Train personnel were very informative & pleasant. The ride lasted approximately 2 hours with two stops. Beautiful and scenic trip during the Kentucky autumn season.

Sadly, the trains only run and the museum is only open on the weekend, and we couldn't visit on the weekend. I understand that it's impossible to keep it staffed on the volunteer basis, but would have loved to see inside and to have taken...More
