I enjoyed my stay at Pine Mountain State Resort Park. It was a weekend get away with a group of friends. We just wish there was a little bit more to do!

The cabin was great, clean, well stocked. Plenty of split wood for fire place. couch and bed not the most comfortable but ok. Off season, so it was very quiet with no neighbors Nice trails for hiking, friendly staff including park ranger who we saw on trails several times. Dog friendly! Dry county so if you plan on having a... More

When we arrived the view of the resort was pretty. Check in was easy. As soon as we entered our room it smelled really clean all except the cobwebs hanging from the corners of the room. Walked out on the balcony and the ashtray was full of cigarette butts. The beds have some kind of plastic on them makes for... More

The lodge is wonderful. Just plan to spend your money on food some where else. Breakfast is very, very, basic and the buffet was cold. No hot foods. The selection was ok, but the quality was very bad. I'll come back when the food is improved. The room was very comfortable and clean. (No microwave.)

Pine Mountain was the first state park designated in Kentucky. The history of this park stretches back more than 80 years in a region with a rich history of settlement and war. There are numerous CCC shelters, bridges, and roads to add to the character of the park. We also stopped to visit the settler's graveyard with graves dating back... More

What a beautiful trip up through the park! Along the drive were several points of interest. A trip in the fall is highly recommended as the mountain views are beautiful with the changing of the leaves!

My wife (Ellen) of 30 + years and I recently stayed here as part of a package for the annual dulcimer weekend...... It was as expected with one BIG exception. The TV in our room didn't work..... When I called the desk the response was "yeah, there was a big storm a few weeks ago and the cable in that... More

Lodge breakfast was very disappointing: overdone sausage patties, sawdust tasting pancakes, fatty undercooked bacon, disgusting biscuits and gravy. Stick to the waffles -- they are good and made fresh -- unlike other items above that tasted like yesterdays warmed up leftovers. Wednesday salmon special for dinner was not very good either. Service Staff did their best, but they need more... More

Our room had a private balcony and view of mountains and forest. Breath taking. Room had comfy king size bed, mini fridge and soft water shower. Played mini golf.
