This was the only art gallery open in the LowerTown Arts District. the day we visited. The owner was a very passionate and informative about her work. She casts masks of faces of local artist, residents, friends, musician and asks each person to give her a meaningful memento which she attaches to the cast. She then writes a narrative of... More

Pine Cone Gallery is working on a unique art piece that will go on display in November. Char Downs is making plaster life casts of faces for a large display that will go up in November. Anyone can participate, but an appointment is recommended.

Best part about Pine Cone Gallery is that the artist and her husband have converted the rear portion of the studio space to a private bedroom to rent out to Paducah visitors. The artist has moved her studio to the front of the space, and she welcomes visitors to come and see her art, or to participate in workshops. She... More
