A small museum housing some interesting artefacts from the Civil War era. Most of it downstairs - the upstairs is hardly worth the effort as it is just a jumble of old bedroom furniture bearing little relationship to the former owner of the property. Informative...More

Lots of information about General Lloyd Tilghman. The house is the original house he lived in before he set off to war. Great artifacts and tour.

Very good docents telling about Civil war history in this period home. Lots of civil war information and artifacts. You can touch things, hold weapons,, take photos, etc. a must see if you are in Paducah.

I am not certain but I think so. Some places are closed on Mondays. However, the manager Bill Baxter will set up a time if you call ahead. 270-575-5477 He is extremely knowledgeable and will gladly provide you an opportunity.
