This was a nice way to spend an hour but we were a bit disappointed, it would have been great to see more buildings and artifachs but the lady who greeted us sure knew her stuff and was very friendly.

Nice stop on the Civil War Trials through Kentucky. A number of informative markers that describe the historical significance of the area. Well worth a stop.

Well worth the trip for Civil War buffs and others. There is a great idea that explains why it was there and all the things that took place at this important Civil War Camp.

Wonderful location with many very nice displays. You can walk the grounds and see some of the defensive trenches still in place. Peggy who gave us the tour was very knowledgeable and very friendly.
