We took a chance and drove 275 miles to see the band Dark Side of the Wall, ( a Pink Floyd tribute band that recreates the sounds, sights and experience) at the Brown Theatre. Dark Side of the Wall was spectacular! You could tell by the first song that the band members enjoyed what they were doing. I have seen... More

We saw America here. The seats are too small and crowded to be comfortable. They serve alcohol, so there were drunk middle aged people....not a pretty picture. Parking is easy, the elevator goes straight to the lobby.

The interior is beautifully kept and there's not a bad seat in the house. I have seen many shows here over the years, if all different types. There's an attached garage for convenience with a ped way into the theater from the 3rd level.

I've enjoyed several shows and performances at the KY Center. No matter the venue, the facility is always clean & comfortable and there are always polite, helpful staff members readily available to help you find your seat or direct you to the nearest restroom. Prices vary depending on the shows, but I've always found them to be quite reasonable. The... More

We saw Jackie Evancho perform live at the Brown Theatre 12/18/16. Great concert. Great Venue. This was my first visit to the Brown Theatre. Prior to attending I had read several posts in TA saying how tight the seats are and was a bit concerned since I'm 6'1" and 275#. We sat in row K in interior seats quite comfortably.... More

A great place to see a show, concert or performance. Beautiful art displays inside and outside access to the Belvedere, which has great views of the Ohio River. Dinner tip: park at the venue before dinner and walk across the street to Los Aztecas or a little further down to Bluegrass Brewing Company or Jeff Ruby's Steakhouse.

My wife and I are of average size, me 6'1" at 185 lbs her 5'9 140 lbs and we both felt squeezed into our seats. I caught my trouser pocket standing up but did not tear it. We both had back aches by the end of the performance.Loved the performance of the Nutcracker but will not be returning again because... More

Louisville is a shock to the system. You're not in Kansas anymore and Kansas isn't in Kentucky anymore. Must be the pressure of a college town, but this city is cosmopolitan and progressive. That's a big stretch for the South in general, but especially for the old home of ky jelly. I bet half these people don't know what the... More

Cold very cold. We came on a field trip to watch click clack moo and I felt cold just like the cows did in the barn. The show was good and kids loved it. They could turn up the mic volume because the music or laughing drowned out the actors/actresses voices at times. Still a wonderful show and they did... More
