We've been going to Joe Ley's for over 30 years, whenever I go to visit my family in Louisville. We've bought salt cellars, stained glass windows, and many antique lamps. Lovely people and a fascinating store. Highly recommended.

Now this is probably the most interesting and unique antique shop I've ever visited, Now Ley's. What an incredible array of vintage and antique pieces with numerous nooks and crannies through out the building. This is a must see for any antique enthusiast!

We really enjoyed looking around this store. We would have loved to have spent more time here and hope to return. There was a good selection of antiques, as well as interesting and quirky items. It would be worth a visit just to experience the building (an old school with lots of character and charm).

We'd heard about Joe Ley Antiques on KET Kentucky Collectibles and thought it would be a fun stop on the way to the airport. It IS a fun place to explore--all 4 floors of "stuff." I saw that other people had mentioned this and I'll add my own caution: if you park at the expensive metered on-street parking--I think it... More

If you are into "any" type of antiques, the you have to hit this place when your are in the Louisville area. There are pieces of virtually type of antiques, and the prices are usually pretty reasonable. All of the staff is helpful and informative. You can spend up to several hours there on virtually every visit, as new pieces... More

Stopped by just to browse, maybe an hour before closing, and wished we had a couple extra hours! This place is a browser's paradise. There's something here for everyone and, unlike usual flea markets, it's all owned by one person, not a consignment type place. The items range from small trinkets (salt and pepper shakers) to huge items (chandelier hoisted... More

Joe Ley Antiques was such a great store! It is very well organized and have everything you could ever imagine! Old stoves, old suitcases, old golf clubs, chairs, toys, furniture, jewelry, etc., etc. The displays are great! The building is 4 stories, so there is a lot to see. It is not air conditioned, so it is a little uncomfortable... More

Even if you don't make a purchase it's a great place to look around. Actually, there are some great antiques there. There are 3 floors plus a basement that I didn't have time to see. If you are looking for the very unusual it's probably there. The down side is metered street parking at 25 cents per 9 minutes. They... More
