This is a nice waterfront park by the river in Louisville downtown. One can simple take a stroll, do bike, run or simply sit and enjoy the river.

I walked from my hotel to the park and found it to be a great viewing area for the Ohio River. Others have complained about panhandlers in the area but I saw none during my mid morning walk. Lots to see and plenty of benches...More

This was the first activity we did after arriving in Louisville for an anniversary get-a-way holiday; it was terrific. We walked from our downtown accommodations on 4th Street to the Ohio River, from there we walked along the public Louisville Waterfront Park paths paralleling the...More

This beautiful park is located on the Ohio River and is an excellent vantage point to take in sweeping views of the river of course but also the impressive bridges that cross it and the downtown skyline. There's a walking path that connects by pedestrian...More

We could not find parking on the waterfront. Walked past too many panhandlers along the water. Sketchy place. Not worth the risk.

I used this park as an area for my cardio walk while staying at the Galt House Hotel on business. Very well kept park and sidewalks with plenty of sitting benches scattered throughout. The park includes a children's campground with numerous picnic tables close by...More

Beautiful place to picnic, relax and enjoy the sun. Bring a piece of cardboard to slide down the grassy hills near by.
