Beautiful waterfront

What a great area! Honestly I've been here numerous times. I often run here when I get out of work early and enjoy the views. I can't wait to see how awesome it is in the summer.

They have done a good job making the waterfront feel relaxing and safe. Even though you are nearly in the middle of downtown. With a variety of things to do from walking to playgrounds to the Joe's Crab Shack at the end. Nice and close to major hotels and transportation if you are visiting.

Waterfront Park has so much to offer. Beautiful landscaping!! Great for picnics, walks, fountains, and they even have several playgrounds for kids.

From the park you can see all the bridges which is great for pictures. Take a walk along and there is plenty of places to stop and take pictures.

I have now been to the park on 2 separate occasions and was not overly impressed with the amenities. other that that is was a beautiful walk (short) and had some good history to take in on the various statues.

After just seeing from the highway and River Road, I finally explored Waterfront Park. A group of friends and I went on a Segway tour of the park including riding across the Big 4 Bridge. The park is beautiful in the summer. the Abe Lincoln statues were truly educational. I would highly recommend the tour.

We walked from the Ali center to the park as evening fell. Nice & pleasant watching some fishermen try their luck and good views over the Ohio River to Indiana. A lot of history on these Banks/Levees !! The bridges are impressive as well & pity time didn't allow a walk over to the other bank ?

Paved walking trails to a beautifully landscaped and cared for city park. Wheelchair accessible and pet friendly, this walk along the riverfront is one of the cities treasures. The only downside is it is not a safe location at night if there is not an event going on downtown and the city now has metered parking in the lots that... More

Statue of young Abe Lincoln is very impressive. Large boards tell the story of his time in Louisville. Several folks were riding bikes on the paths. Family swings are fun. We sat in the amphitheater for awhile just watching the river.

Walked from our hotel, The Brown for a Sunday afternoon. Stopped at shops and KFC store for a picture with the man himself.
