We visited Churchill Downs on a guided tour from downtown Louisville. It was really impressive and we learned a lot. We had our pictures taken in our fancy Kentucky Derby Hats which was great fun! It was a terrific place to visit.

We drove and walked around this beautiful historic district. Magnificent old homes and some lovely streets and boulevards. As we had limited time, we're looking forward to going back to explore on our next trip to Louisville.

Driving through here is peaceful with all the beautiful homes and the trees creating a natural tunnel.
