There are many wonderful places along Frankfort Avenue. Great restaurants that are acclaimed in high profile publications (i.e., Fond, At The Italian Table, Red Hog Butcher, Blue Dog Bakery, Bourbons Bistro, Silver Dollar, Craft House, Con Huevos, El Mundo, and many, many more). Today was a day to stop by the North End Cafe for bunch on Frankfort Avenue. It's a good place to eat in an area where there are plenty of choices. Originally we were going to eat of the Blue Dog Bakery, however, there was a 45 minute wait. This tells you how popular it is. We will come back... More

Frankfort Avenue is definitely a walking tour of a great part of the old Louisvillle City . It has everything from Craig Caviar's working forge and art gallery and the American Printing House for the Bliind at one end, to the Masonic Village at the other end. In between are shops, coffee houses, bars, eateries, architecture, and even a horse... More

What a treasure. So many unique shops and restaurants and cafes. Was the perfect way to spend the afternoon (weather permitting) Only wish that more places were open Sundays, will go on Saturday for sure next time.

It has the Kentucky School for the bling on it and the road Crossings Speak to tell you when the light changes so you can cross safely.... More

A great neighborhood to safely explore - lots of boutiques, eateries and interesting architecture. How can you go wrong with coffee shops, bookstores, high-end spirits and restaurants - all locally-owned?

This a great place to hang out. I have 3 kids and we are able to walk up and down Frankfort Ave grab something to eat and have a great time. Or you can dress up and have a romantic date with your loved. I recommend you check it out.

There are so many shops there that you need a full day or several days to really see them all. We found so much stuff.
