I've seen a number of better art museums in mid-sized cities (Rochester, NY, Kansas City) so in some respects this is a three-star attraction. There were a couple of "interrupted" paintings which means they are unfinished (very, very clearly unfinished) by artists I hadn't heard...More

Musuem is of modest size and you can go through the art in a couple of hours unless you are one that likes to pretend they are an Art Critic. Flows well and good variety.

The visiting modern art collection on loan from the University of Indiana is terrific! Glass pieces are remarkable. Something for everyone Our group’s docents were superb.

Special exhibits are special. The latest Impressionist artists men and women were excellent, the addition to the older section is beautifully designed in modern style blending well with the old. Well worth spending time with fine exhibits!

Excelllent facility for art lovers. Activities are very esoteric. But there seems to be lots going on most of the time. Have activities for youngsters and people who enjoy arty things.

There is paid parking at the museum. Sometimes you can get street parking but look at the signs carefully.
