Very informative. Loved the 360 degree theater in shape of race track. It was so real you could almost feel the dirt the horses were kicking up. It is a must-experience. I... read more

We stopped here because we are horse lovers. I am not a fan of racing but it was still extremely cool to see it all in person! The tour was short, but entertaining. There was some misinformation, but nothing overly ridiculous. My reason for giving a lower review is miscommunication. We visited, and decided to take a tour later in... More

We knew little about horse racing before our visit so learned a lot about the history of the Derby. Enjoyed the interactive experiences in the museum and the movie. Would love to come back to see some actual racing. And wear a hat!!!!

I came here with some buddies last summer. We stopped here on the way to Nashville and we all enjoyed checking out the museum. It was fun to learn more about horse racing and they had some great artwork as well. I'll come back again if I'm in the area.

Loved the new 360 movie about the Derby. One of the jockeys stopped by after the film to say hello. What a treat. Good tour included with admission. Great museum.

For those who love horses or racing, this is the place to go! Jockey silks from the different racing stables to being able to sit on a plastic horse in the starting gate this place has it all. Great place to go with the family because there is something for everybody!

The museum tour was very interesting, and the tour guides were knowledgeable. When you check in, the person who helps you may give you a schedule to follow. The woman directed us to take the 30-minute grounds tour before our scheduled behind-the-scenes tour. They were repetitive, so if you pay for the behind-the-scenes tour, you don't need to take the... I had never been to this museum before. I really enjoyed the circle movie as well as the tour of Churchill Downs. The gift shop was interesting. This would be a must go when touring Louisville.
