Waveland is a beautiful southern plantation. The grounds are awesome and well maintaned. It is a great place for a picnic with a nice play area. It is at its best when it hosts its arts fair.

My husband and I celebrated Valentine's Day at Waveland enjoying their special evening tea. We had such a good time and it was the best Valentine's day ever! Costumed workers served us tea and treats on fine china at special tables for two. It was delicious and filling. After the tea, we got to take a tour of the house... More

Nicely preserved home and artifacts that are a great U.S. history lesson for adults and kids and the family story is an interesting tale. While the slave quarters were sobering, it is part of our history and worth seeing. Enjoyed the history lesson about early Americans and a early KY family.

We took the tour through the house and it was lovely. Our guide was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. There is also a cute shop, from where you purchase tickets for the tour.
