Excellent landscaping with old growth trees, a haven for many species of wild birds. Old and new sections are tastefully laid out with clearly marked roads.

First visited for a burial and then returned to appreciate the cemetery. It is extremely well kept and has plots from both sides of the Civil War and many of the great historical giants of Kentucky. Did not know the Adolf Rupp was buried here....More

This cemetery contains quie a bit of history. It has sections for both Union and Confederate dead from the Civil War. Many monuments chronical history with stories about the deceased. The park like setting is relaxing.

Yes I have visited cemeteries from Kentucky to Bar Harbor. The way people treat the deceased is different in almost every place you go.
