I stopped here last July. This is an obligatory stop for travelling the Alaska Highway, an oasis on a long road with few amenities. Great scenery, nice water, more of a natural setting than your typical swimming pool hot springs in the national parks. I am not sure why people are so shocked that a place surrounded by warm, stagnant... More

Cold outside but so beautiful and relaxing inside. The challenge of course is finding the well to get out and changed after being warm and wet. We were there before sunrise at 9 AM and had the entire place to ourselves. Beautiful with the hoar frost on the trees and early morning light.

Awesome spot. Free entry in winter. No pets allowed. Bring a lunch or snacks as there is no food available. Fire pits available for use free of charge. Outhouses on site. Change rooms are NOT heated.

This is the second time I have visited Liard Hot Springs and I never have been disappointed. It is an amazing experience and such a natural wonderful site created by the Provincial Park system. Easy to access from the main highway and only $10 CAD to park for overnight camping and to visit the springs. A beautiful and peaceful boardwalk... More

We were pulling an RV trailer along the Alaska Highway. This is well worth a day or two visit. Great private campground sites. Well maintained board walk to the hot springs. Hot springs are clean and well designed. There can be lots of people when a tour bus is there but it is not overwhelming. When the bus is gone,... More

This is by far the best hot spring I've ever been to. Clean. Pools that range from hot to cooler temperatures. You're guaranteed to find a temperature to suit you. I have visited in the spring and fall (April, and September), and feel that might be the perfect time to go. I don't know what it would be like mid-summer... More

This place is probably great any time of the year but when we were freezing during our camping trip when temperatures dropped a lot...this was just a magic! Nicely mantained and 5 CAD is reasonable.

As part of our 24 day camping trek, we have stopped in at Liard for 2 nights. The campground is a great layout and can host a variety of camper sizes. Best to book your site online ahead of time. All sites are quite level and have fire pits as well as tables.Note in the summer months they do get... More

Another clean and well maintained B.C park. Very busy for the end of September. Wasn't expecting the long walk to the Hot Springs. It was a little tiring for me and my cane. The campsites were well spaced and private.

These hot springs and the campground are a beautifully maintained provincial park. There's a short walk along a boardwalk through a beautiful marsh to the hot springs. They consist of two pools, one above the other with a small waterfall in between. The changing rooms are basic, with benches and hooks, and have no lockers or showers. The campground is... More
