Our history campus in historic downtown Frankfort includes the premier library for Kentucky genealogy research, interactive exhibits that tell Kentucky's stories from prehistoric to current times, educational activities for all ages and more.

When you buy your ticket here, you are granted admission to three museums. We found, however, that five hours was insufficient time to take in all of this one so we never made it to the other two.

It's not a large museum but does cover a lot about Kentucky's history. There is a research library on the second where you can research your Kentucky ancestors. Down the street is the Old State Capital plus the Old Capital Museum is across the street....More
