Our family visited the Jim Beam Stillhouse as on of the distilleries on the Bourbon Trail aventure! When driving up to the distillery we loved the grandeur of the Jim Beam Stillhouse and the statue of Jim Beam in the front. The cozy rockers on the porch make you feel at home. Once inside the Jim Beam building the front... More

We got there 3 mins late and our tour left even though we booked ahead. Learn our lesson get there early. We are lucky enough to have still done the tour. It was really good. We got to fill and wax our own bottle and put our fingerprint in the wax. This was a great experience and something to take... More

Took a chance and showed up without reservations and luckily able to get on a tour 1.5 hours later it was definitely worth the wait not to mention you can buy drinks while you wait and walk the little self guided tour while waiting the tour guide was awesome and really knew his stuff towards the end of the tour... A group of 12 of us went on a couple Bourbon tours. I have to say our favorite was to Jim Beam. The staff was so friendly and personable. They had us laughing and having a great time. We went elsewhere that may have had fancier giftshops but they were not near as fun. Our guide was a great girl... More

Our tour guide was Michael and she was very good. This was the third distillery tour I've been on, and the only one where I've had to pay for the tour. I had high expectations because of the fee. While it certainly had more of a polished feel than other tours, I'm not sure it was inherently any better than... More

One of the best factory tours I've ever done. In part, because you're actually seeing the factory and not some demonstration of what it might look like. You start with a tour of the Knob Hill Distillery, which is their small batch distillery. They've done a very nice job at recreating the original Stillhouse and original well. I've done other... We have made several trips to local Distillaries when out of town guests visit. This is a relatively new center but an old Distillary. The tour guides are very pleasant, knowledgeable, and sometimes related to the Beam Family. The Gift shop is 2 floors of interesting items and Bourbon. The restaurant serves really good food, but it is small, you... More

A great way to learn about the making of bourbon and to taste the product. The distillery tour was well worth the detour in our travels. Favourite drop was the Knob Creek

What an operation this is! Hidden under the "country" veneer it's clearly a well-designed corporate operation, much like a Cracker Barrel restaurant is "country" but you just know a consultant designed it very carefully. We loved it and plan to bring friends in the future. The tour was more about how they make the bourbon than the differences between their... More

If your visiting Kentucky, a stop at the JB American Stillhouse should be on your list. While visiting family in the E-Town area right after Christmas, myself and my brother-in-law [who is a bourbon lover] went to Clermont to take the tour, which would be one of six on the bourbon trail in two days, but the best overall. Our... More
