Good boat launch

Our family uses the boat launch here - shuttle service when busy - gets busy on holiday weekends. Off-season is perfect here.

We went for a golf and camp mini vacation. The campground was well attended to but could use an update. That's the only reason it didn't get five stars. Everyone at the campground and golf course was extremely friendly. The golf course is well laid out and very well maintained.

If you're looking for a place to golf or a river access point for the boat, Burnside is a great park! Aside from that, it doesn't have much to offer. The pool is closed down, there aren't any trails for running or hiking, there weren't any overlook points to see the river from, and the playground/picnic areas are the smallest... More

The park is alright, but everything in the park is spaced out so walking would take a while. Theres a golf course, playground, camper site, a dock for boats, randomly places picnic tables, and somewhere in the back is a pond. Its really huge which is great but it really needs to be worked on, its super outdated.

We arrived as a group of 12 separate campers (part of a camping club) - they had us booked close to each other. Staff was polite and knowledgeable, clean bathrooms and well maintained lawn. The swimming pool was closed. We will return someday.

I liked the fact it was within a day's drive and not to worn out to enjoy the peaceful, serene setting. Had interesting facts posted along a trail.

One of the best golf courses I have I ever played. Its in really great shape. Lots of sand traps. Design of this course is amazing. The playability was great also. We will definitely play it again!

We just loved this course. Found it strange that it was mostly Zoyza grass, being more of a northern golf course. This course was well maintained and a joy to pay. Usually, every course I play has a hole or two that I think are bad. This course had no bad holes, each one was scenic. The course was challenging... More

Played golf over the 4th and this is the best course in the area. Very nice fairways and greens. Pro shop very helpful on course layoff and pin markers Checked out the campgrounds and only found 1 site we would ever consider. Sites are on top of each other. Did not have a good feeling.

Unfortunately, with the lake levels dropped this park does not have much to offer. The pool is closed and the public no longer go to visit.
