If you want the BEST possible break in a long trip, Kentucky Artisan Center fits the bill. Beautiful building with cafe and nice rest rooms just off the exit ramp. Down-home & upscale crafts of wood, fiber, metal, ceramic, more. Native music and books. Only caveat: their candy selection does not come up to artisanal quality to match everything else.... More

This place is a great stop if you need to rest from a long drive. It is a beautiful building with great, clean bathrooms, a cafeteria, travel info and great art to peruse and buy if you choose. The cafeteria has OK food, reasonably priced but nothing great. The art and crafts from local artisans is exceptional but fairly expensive.... More

Our first time visiting this centre; a real surprise, with a wide range of beautiful, hand-crafted items, foodstuffs, CD's, etc, many Appalachian focused; all price points represented. An excellent place to buy quality gifts. On-site cafeteria had some excellent dishes at reasonable prices. Don't miss this facility!

We have stopped there many times in the past and once again we found it a wonderful place to stretch our legs and see all of the gorgeous handmade wares. Make it a stop on your way to Berea!

Helpful staff welcomed us and gave us great info on where to go and when. So many wonderful artisan items for sale as well as clean restrooms and a cafe.

We visited here while in Berea and it was neat. Lots of local artist displays. A very artsy community.

Large signs along Interstate 75 indicated the existence of the Kentucky Arts and Crafts Center at the northern Berea exit. I wasn’t prepared for something quite so wonderful. It is a huge place with hundreds of artifacts in a great variety of styles. Being a craftsman myself I love such exhibits, finding them very inspirational in their imagination. The small... More

A lovely place to stop and see different types of art - from woodcraft and metalwork to pottery and jewelry. Also a touch of literature and fiber art. Sims extremely lovely items and some slightly bizarre and whimsical. Take your wallet prices are rather high.

Clean, well lit, well organized... a fairly new facility. Easy to access off I-75 lots of parking. Many craft items, unique, one of a kind, all of high-quality, plus they also have a great cafeteria with a wide selection of food
