My husband and I decided to go to Louisville for the weekend for my 30th birthday, and the weather didn't cooperate. When almost all of the other Bardstown distilleries closed, Heaven Hill stayed open! And we were very glad it did! We got there just...More

Did the educational tour and tasting. Interesting presentation by a knowledgeable and funny young lady. Gift shop had several of their very best and hard to find bourbons for sale. Definitely recommend this tour.

My husband ranks the heritage center (museum and gift shop) as 5 stars, but the whiskey connoisseur experience as 4 stars. He felt rushed during the tasting especially given that bourbon is something that should be enjoyed.

A huge gift store as well as decently sized museum area. It is very well done. They are one of the few places that offer a premium tasting without a formal tour and it was definitely worth it. We hadn’t planned on coming here originally...More

We did the Bourbon Connoisseurs Experience, which is $20 a person, where we tasted four bourbons, including the William Heavenhill bottled in bond $250 a bottle stuff. It was an interesting experience. There is also a less expensive tasting that is only $10 per person...More

We did the Whiskey Connoisseur tour and was not disappointed. We learned so much and enjoyed the tastings. Their gift shop is one of the best!

This depends on what you are looking for. If you want to go to a Rickhouse, then the Heritage Center is the place (not to mention that the tasting afterwards is in a cool looking room). If you are interested in the history... More
