Great time

I am not a Bourbon or whiskey drinker but my friend and husband are! We had a nice time even though it was cold.

Dear 1792 Barton Distillery Having been guided on a tour of your distillery by Erin, I must say that I am thoroughly impressed with your commitment to provide us with the best bourbon and brandy. I don't believe I have ever viewed a more efficient and smooth running process such as yours. I was particularly impressed with the procedure you... More

We were touring the area on a Saturday and unable to get in to any of the larger distilleries, so found out this was nearby and FREE, so we decided to give it a try. It is hard to know you've arrived and we thought GPS had made a mistake as this is an active working distillery and it didn't... More

Smaller distillery but owned by Sazerac. Not fancy but the tour guide knew her job. She loved the bourbon industry and it showed. Gift shop is tiny but has the necessary goods like tshirts ,caps, glencairn and signed 1792 bottles for sale. Glad we visited. The tour is walking and outside so dress appropriately.

What a fun and educational tour we had at Barton 1792 distillery. My husband and I were more interested in touring a smaller distillery and Barton 1792 was recommended. We had an excellent tour guide, and learned some really interesting facts about the Bourbon industry! Not only was the end-of-tour Bourbon tasting very good, the entire tour was free!

We were surprised when we stopped in for a tour that they were offering lantern tours at night. It was tricky going through a manufacturing facility by lantern. But totally cool. Our guide was informative and a good guy. I would totally do this again. The tasting at the end seemed a bit hurried and less informative compared to some... More

Barton was one of the later stops that our group made and it was probably my least favorite of the distilleries that we visited while we were on the trail. It was later in the day and it felt like everyone was a bit frazzled and ready to close shop but they were very cordial throughout. We had to wait... More

We visited Barton"s not knowing what to expect. It turned out to be a rewarding experience. We met nice employees that answered every question. The tasting was great. We found new bourbons for my collection. We plan to return in the near future!

I learned a lot about Kentucky Bourbon on this informative tour. The guide was entertaining and provided quite a lot of detail. Free tastings followed the tour.
