The Overland Park Botanical Gardens are definitely a gem in the Kansas City area. I frequent the Gardens and always enjoy my visit. I always seem to find new additions to the park, there are so many trails, and different portions of the park to...More

A fairly nice arboretum, though somewhat limited in scope. Apparently is fairly new, so the extent of developed gardens is not great. Still, spent a couple of hours there and enjoyed the experience. Highlight was the trail with a series of very nice bronze sculptures....More

Great combination of botanical gardens and woods. You can take a stroll through the gardens or choose one of the many trails through different kind of woods. Some trails are short and easy, while others are fairly long and have some steep grades, but all...More

This is a nice place to have a picnic or have a hike in the trails. They have a cafe in case you need snacks. You may bring your dog. You are able to use a stroller.

We have loved our arboretum as it has grown over the years. A dedicated group of professionals are assisted by many volunteers. Great community support to their foundation's annual STEMS event that brings music, beverages, and local restaurant tastings to their patrons. Don't miss their...More

It's in the gift shop. Menu was sandwiches, and bagels... Stuff like that. Prices were reasonable. It seemed clean and convenient. Very friendly staff.

You can find the Overland Park Arboretum on Facebook. I believe you can also do a web search for them and get the info there. I get emails from them a lot, but don't remember getting one so far about wine tasting. Maybe a... More
