I really loved this little park, but found the rocks to be so odd. These rocks at Rock City are so unique in the way they are formed, looks, and their location. The park itself is easy to find, there are signs pointing you in...More

I had driven by the signs for Rock City for 20 years. Was bored on the way up from Texas a couple of years ago and finally stopped. Glad I did. This place is really cool. I love the different rock formations. You can spend...More

Wonderful element of the Kansas-Rock-Tour. Remanent of the inland ocean that Kansas once was. Huge odd rocks and great hiking trails. Very special site -- whimsical, spiritual or just fun??? Maybe all 3.

It's worth driving off the beaten path to visit if you have the time and want something different to see. The $3 entry fee helps to keep the place going. The recent addition of restrooms is a true upgrade from the one with the sign,...More

Came to visit on a whim and we were not disappointed! Pleasantly surprised that they let service members in free of charge, but we made sure to spend money at the gift shop. This place is ran on donations; no govt funding, so make sure...More

This place is neat to visit. This is not something I would drive far out of my way to get to, but if you're in Salina for some reason then visit if you have time.

I believe you can go all day. They have a charge but we went after hours and no one was there to collect the fee.
