If you have time, and like Wizard of Oz; do it!

Kinda cheesy, but some of it's pretty cool. Our tour guide (Dorothy) wasn't the best, but it was neat to see what a farm house of that era looked like. You were then taken into a building that was the bedroom, and they have sound effects like you are in her house. You then "walked out" of the house, and... More

Not at all impressed with this site. Took a picture of the sign and that was about all. I think the gift shop was bigger than the house which I didn't bother entering. They could do more to make it what it should be for a lot of families.

A unique idea. Sort of needs a renovation as the displays are looking old and worn. The gift shop could be larger and more imaginative. Our tour guide was excellent and really put a lot of effort into it. Sort of distracted from the tour when we exited and her boss was waiting there yelling at her about taking too... More

Cute idea that need some tlc. we were there after it closed, but walked around to see what we could see. The cutouts need a touch up on the paint and things just looked tired. The yellow brick road was okay.

I wish Trip Advisor would allow you to rate to the nearest half as I probably would have given it about 3.5 out of 5. Dorothy's house and Land of Oz is actually part of the Seward County Historical Museum. You actually go into an old 2-story house to purchase tickets and you are able to walk through the house... It was closed when we were there, but wife took a few pics outside. I think kids who are familiar with story would get a kick out of it.

Okay, it's cheesy but it's well done and it's FUN! It's very well crafted. All the major scenes are here; the house, the yellow brick road, each of the characters, the Emerald City. It's a guided tour guided by none other than DOROTHY! It's fun for kids and adults alike. Just go. It's fun!

My husband and I were passing through Liberal, KS, on the way to Albuquerque and couldn't pass Dorothy's House/Land of Oz up. Everyone on staff was friendly and warm. Although I liked the Wizard of Oz Museum in Wamego a bit better than this attraction, the gift shop here had a better variety of merchandise. The tour--which was meant to... More

Shameless bunch of hucksters pawning off generic crap and legitimate Wizard of Oz memorabilia. Not a single legitimate item.

When driving through Kansas to Minnesota we had to stop, because we weren't going to be there anymore! Bad joke aside, it was a cute stop for a small town. It is a little outdated, but almost better as a retro stop, it just fits the vibe. We unfortunately missed the tour, but the walk about gave a good feeling... More
