Sadly, Bob Dole's political life and style may not be replicated any time soon as evidenced by our current situation. Bob got things accomplished for the good of the country and could work with most anyone to make it happen. The exhibit does not take...More

Visiting the Dole Center is to be reminded of the Greatest Generation -- Service to country and service in search of solutions rather than partisan gridlock. In a few short exhibits, the Dole Center portrays in a largely non-partisan way, the role that Bob Dole...More

This place is often overlooked by travelers coming to Lawrence Kansas. It has Iron beams for the World Trade Center disaster with at the time the largest stain glass flag in the US. On the wall that has the front entry is pictures of Veterans...More

I have had the opportunity to not only tour the facility but go behind the scenes to some of the collections. It is a small but nice place to visit. It has beams from 9/11 too. For Dole enthusiasts, this is a must-see.
