We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. My husband is a geology buff and the quality of the exhibits and explanations were perfectly done to allow a novice to appreciate the exhibit or a hobbyist to learn something new.

Could spend all day here, so entertaining. It was set up well, had so many fossils, and taught us so much. Definitely worth the visit.

Took my nephew and kids during an overnight stop in Hays. Just hoped to get some walking in before we headed to the mountains. The kids had a great time and were very interested in most of it.

The exhibits are well maintained and the displays are nice. Pretty typical experience with an emphasis on evolution like most museums of this type. The staff we encountered were all nice. Dinosaurs! The kids will probably enjoy this portion of the museum. Plenty of animatronics...More
