Great little road side stop to see the wagon tracks across the prairie. The park is well done and the wildflowers were just beautiful in bloom. Great walking path to the various viewing points.

This was a great stop for my kids to see. I think that it really registered that this was a very important part of history for our country. The sacrifices that were made and the choices that pioneer's made to take this route.

These are some of the best I've seen, and I've been to several dozen locations of the trail from Arrow Rock to Santa Fe. Definitely worth a stop, especially if you've never seen the tracks the wagons made.

Nice place to stop and strectch your legs. Paved walking path with information kiosks along the trail. Also has QR scanners for more information on your phone

Worth the stop to get a feel for the type of country these early travelers had to cross. The tracks are visible as slight indentations in the hillsides. Not readily visible.

I love old stuff like this- it was a neat stop. I understand that its not everyones cup of tea. Its just a pull off on the side of the road. Lots of information available.

West of town about 9 miles. Coming from Dodge City, it's on the right side of the road. Nothing really denotes it from the road. There is a small loop you drive up, and a parking area not far from the highway. There was a...More

A lot of good information to read along the path. The tracks are a bit difficult to see, but it's worth a visit.

I am trying to locate Conover Springs which is supposed to be a day's wagon trip from Dodge City. Has anyone heard of it?
