We took the trolly to Fort Dodge and leaned about the history. We did not get out to look or see anything, but it was very clean and looked interesting. The trolly tour there was great.

Pleasant and informative museum, a lot of fun and a great display of an old West cavalry fort. Much history in the area, and this is well worth a stop.

I found this fort has not preserved it's history as much as I'd like to see. It is like a small town and almost everything is modern. I was not impressed with the visit.

Great reuse of an old fort as a rest home for veterans. The buildings and layout of the old fort have been well preserved.

I liked the old buildings from the fort since I enjoy history. As military veterans, we enjoyed seeing that the State of Kansas is housing military veterans.

From the moment we pulled off the highway this small forgotten place was depressing. Forgotten and run down it is hard to imagine the State of Kansas has a VA facility here. We saw one living soul as we walked around the deserted town for...More
