The best part of the Waterloo Center for the Arts. A good place to take elementary age kids for a creative and fun afternoon. There are lots of hands on and participant activities in all the arts to engage children.

We returned to Phelps Youth Pavilion in Waterloo the other day. It turns out there were more rooms to explore! On the second floor there was another room with a interactive game where a video shows on the floor and engages you to participate. For...More

This is a wonderful place to learn, be creative and have fun! We go here a few times a year - and I also try to do at least one Girl Scout Meeting each year. What a wonderful place! Tons to do!

Make sure you look into this place before you go. I took an 11 year old and a 9 year old during spring break for "dollar days". We were done in about 10 minutes, so considering we paid a dollar it wasn't terrible, but I...More

We went here for a day trip and we're pleasantly impressed. It has all the exhibits of a larger kids museum for half the price and people. I would recommend this place to anyone with younger children.
