All in all a great experience. Excellent friendly service and easy kayak pickup. The port of Hanhitaipale is the best place to go, because the finest destinations are close by. There are no big and open lake areas close by, which increases safety for the inexperienced.

The kayaks were easily obtained with a code. The level of equipment is good, everything necessary is included.
The sceneries at Southern Konnevesi are splendid, and there are plenty of services in the national park, such as piers for landing.
There are also a few nice geocaches available for paddlers.

Great experience! The renting service was very flexible and included all the needed gear. The process was easy: rent and pay the needed gear online. Receive a code to unlock the stuff at the pier. Enjoy the nature! The owner was very helpful and gave advice & recommendations remotely by texting & calling.
The views were outstanding. We ended up extending our trip by one night to enjoy more of the lovely nature. The fire places & toilets were well kept in the national park.
I'll be a returning customer for sure.

We rented canoe and kayak for a weekend with friends. Rental worked out very well and the southern konnevesi national park is a fabulous place.

We rented Kajak for two days and we were more than happy about it..it was really beautiful und peaceful trip.. Everything worked perfectly!!
After Kajak tour we even made a day kanu trip with kids, because it was so lovely! We really recommend kala ja retkeily company, excellent customer service und equipments!
After trip it is nice to eat lunch in restaurant Morton in Rautalampi... Excellent food and service!

Very nice 4h+ (about 10km) kayaking trip in the scenic scenery in the Etelä-Konnevesi Natural park.
Trip lenght and intensity was based on the group experience/sportiness level and everybody enjoyed the trip a lot. Markku was very good tour guy and provided nice lite lunch on a small island.
Highly recommendable way to see the Finnish nature in an active way!

I did three day kayaking trip to Souther Konnevesi National Park. Kayak rent from KalajaRetkeily was easy. I spend both night on Island Kaituri in tent. There are only few cabins on shoreline so it is peaceful out there.

It is a Must-do ! It was a great moment, the ballad was absolutely stunning and Markku, our guide, was very nice and very interesting !
We did a 2h30 canoe trip on the southern Konnevesi lake. We were 5 persons on 2 canoes and Markku was on a kayak. Paddling was easy. We also had a snack on a small island that was made out of local products (smoked salmon, coffee, homemade cakes...).
And, he gave us a lot of tips to buy local or to do other activities.
We highly recommend !

There are lots of good ways to explore the nature of Southern Konnevesi National Park. But the best approach we have experienced so far was to take in the park's magnificent landscape on a kayak tour!
We had the pleasure to go on a guided "Käpynän Ukko" tour with Markku as our guide. The tour lasted 3h incl. a delightful coffee break on sparrow's island and made up an enjoyable and memorable activity on a Sunday afternoon.

We rented two kayaks for two days. Markku delivered the kayaks and all supplies (incl. maps) to our cabin. We did two day trips in beautiful Konnevesi lake area. The highlight was a beautiful Lapinsalo island with good amenities for barbequeing and sandy beach for swimming.
