Arnolds Park is OK for an amusement place, but generally just for kids. The lakes are nice, but you should have your own boat and I would use the common access instead of the hotel slips. Okoboji Classic Cars is a MUST SEE! We really...More

No real direct access or beach, so we just drove around it, but did find the trail head for the rails/trails trail so walked it for a bit with the pups. It was nice

Great fishing and a fun little town to go with! I would recommend Spirit for summer or ice fishing and stopping at Bucks or Sportsmans after is always a good idea.

The lake here was awesome and the town has some friendly people. It is worth the drive from wherever you are.

We drove around the lake on our motorcycle. It is pretty but nothing too exciting. There are a couple of public beaches you can stop at to swim. We stopped at one to relax.

Do not vacation here the week before Labor Day. Everything is shut down and there is literally nothing to do. There are signs in every restaurant and bar to notify you that service will be poor because students are back in school.

Not going to review something I do not know about, but will use as advice next time we're up that way. Big band music is not really our cup of tea, but it need ever hurts to broaden one's culture.
